Description
Tina Fanelli Moraccini began her adventures in Real Estate during her college years- selling houses while working towards her degree in Political Science/International Relations. After graduation, her professional career took an interesting turn when she moved to Italy to begin a career in PR and marketing in the early 1990s, first for a small firm, European Management Services, and then as in-house Director of PR for CESA, an NGO which dealt with global interaction on banking for small and medium-sized businesses. After moving back to the states, Tina (who is fluent in Italian) was in charge of Special Projects/Cultural Affairs for the Istituto Italiano di Cultura (Cultural office of the Italian Consulate General), where she organized more than 1,000 events in the 12 years she was there, promoting Italian culture in the western United States. Tina left her Consular position to open Piccolo Chef, the leading culinary academy for children in Los Angeles, where she built the brand from an idea to a success story. She published one of the most beautiful and timeless cookbooks available on the market today: The Piccolo Chef Cookbook. At Piccolo Chef, she produced and starred in a compelling video series to teach kids how to make our signature dishes. Over the years, Piccolo Chef has won several awards for their classes, programs and events. Countless news articles, local and national TV appearances, and reality shows are proof points of the level of her expertise when it comes to branding, marketing and public relations. Returning to the exciting world of Real Estate - Tina's first love - was the most natural transition. She hails from a long line of Realtors, as her mother, father and sister were all top award-winning agents. She has Real Estate royalty in her blood! Tina enjoys cooking with her family, including her husband, Maurizio, and their two children, Mia and Valentina; staying on top of the latest trends and news; and traveling the world. She and her family reside in Calabasas, where Tina is an active member of the community, volunteering and running point on several local charities.
